Studio Policies
RESERVATION POLICY
ONLINE: You may make an online class reservation up to 7 days prior to class time. Online reservations will be cut off 30 minutes prior to class time. In order to reserve online, a positive account is required (note, classes can be purchased online). If you need to change classes or cancel you must do so online at least 30 minutes before the start of class.
TELEPHONE: You may make a reservation by phone 30 minutes or less prior to class time though we strongly advise using the online reservation system.
CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel online or by phone up to 30 minutes before the start of class. If you do not cancel, you will be charged for class (note, clients with unlimited packages will lose 1 day for each no-show).
CLASS PACKAGE EXPIRATIONS
Class packages expire 1 year after purchase. Unlimited packages expire 30 days after activation.
PREGNANT CLIENT POLICY
New and continuing pregnant clients must provide a doctor's note that allows permission to take strengthening and stretching classes. Pregnant clients new to the Bar Method must take at least 2 pre-natal Bar Method Classes before joining the regular classes. Pregnant students can opt to take the first ½ of class (more focus on the arms and legs) for half price. Refer to “Moms to be” for more information.
ATTIRE
Exercise pants to the knee or below (compression shorts must be worn underneath if pants are loose fitting), tops that cover midriff and socks that cover the entire foot.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
If this is your first Bar Method class, please arrive 10 minutes early, as there is no admittance for first-timers once class has started. Returning students may enter up to 10 minutes after class has started.
DRINKS
Please do not bring glass or uncapped drinks into the exercise studio. Capped plastic water bottles are allowed and encouraged!
CELL PHONES
No cell phones or pagers are allowed in the studio room during class.
GUM
Please do not chew gum in the studio.
